Carlsbad Soil and Water Conservation District
Established under New Mexico state law in 1945. The District's boundaries lie in the southern portion of Eddy County and the western
edge of Otero County. Our are objectives are to:
- Provide improvement of watershed health
- Provide an information and education program
- Provide assistance with community projects
- Provide interagency relations
- Provide support for the Hackberry Watershed District
- Provide
involvement in legislative issues affectting the District
The Carlsbad Soil and Water Conservation District's mission is to facilitate
programs that conserve our natural resources for all citizens and future generations within the district boundary by utilizing any
available funding, technical and educational resources, and through voluntary efforts.
